A small television series hit the airwaves in 2001 and immediately attracted a cult following. The first episodes received significant acclaim from audiences of all ages and new interest in the show continued to grow.

Clark’s supporters are pleased in recent Smallville episodes when Clark and Lana hook up every now and then. But this is a complicated world and relationships take on their own complications.

It is a complex development and certainly not predictable.

Superman fans may even think that this Lana is one love of Superman’s life, Lois Lane. But this isn’t Superman and Lana isn’t Lois Lane. In fact, we meet Miss Lane much later in the Smallville episodes. Superman fans were still very pleased and teased in Smallville episodes, almost cruelly even.
