Breakfast Gift Baskets – Big on Breakfast Gift Ideas!

Absolutely no contest when it comes to my favorite food gift basket – they are breakfast gift baskets! Combined with a glass of sparkling orange juice and I’m in heaven! Of my two parents, Dad was the best breakfast cook in our house. Dad took it upon himself to be the weekend breakfast chef, came up with some bad breakfast ideas, and like kids, we looked forward to those special mornings all week!

Even mom was excited to get an extra half hour of sleep on weekend mornings. She of course had her breakfast gift basket hand delivered and that was their private time that we were only occasionally invited to share.

Once the chores were done, Dad would build the fire, turn on the stove, and take out the pots and pans, so we were woken up to the merry sound of the commotion in the kitchen and the wood fire to keep us warm. Every weekend morning we had our own breakfast club.

Breakfast ideas were never skimped on in our house. It became a game for us to help dad with new breakfast recipes that we found and gave him during the week. Maybe it’s time to go back to some of the “old” ways of doing things and teach our families to create traditions again. I’ve read that the best meal of the day, both nutritionally and brain-wise, is breakfast. And maybe we can start with simply designed and fun breakfast basket ideas.

What most people like about thoughtful breakfast gift baskets is that –
