Electroless high phosphorus nickel coatings typically have a very high level of corrosion and chemical resistance. High phosphorus coatings are non-magnetic, silver/grey in color and have a normal thickness range of 25-75 microns. Plating rates are usually slow and the plating solution tends to have a short shelf life.
