Kingdom Rush Origins guide
The elven prequel in the Kingdom Rush series, with its own tower branches, heroes, spells, enemies, achievements, and campaign routes.
Current answer
What players need to know now.
Kingdom Rush Origins builds should be planned around enemy movement and resistance before raw damage. Its elven towers are strongest when barracks and control keep a wave inside overlapping ranged attacks, while the hero and Lightning spell handle the threat that breaks the normal lane rhythm. This kingdom rush origins guide gives you the orientation first; open a focused ranking, code, build, database, or stage guide when you need that specific answer.

Core systems
The decisions that shape Kingdom Rush Origins progression.
| System | What it controls | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Elven towers | Provide eight specialized control and damage paths. | Pair branches whose range and enemy coverage overlap. |
| Heroes | Supply a movable response with unique abilities. | Match the hero to the map rather than one overall rank. |
| Spells | Reinforce lanes and remove emergency targets. | Save major cooldowns for predictable pressure. |
| Enemy mechanics | Add teleporting, spawning, flying, and resistant units. | Build counters before the special wave arrives. |
Low-regret start
Five useful Kingdom Rush Origins starting rules.
- 1
Place the first damage tower where it can cover more than one section of the path.
- 2
Use barracks or roots to keep enemies inside a prepared kill zone.
- 3
Buy a specialization only after checking whether the lane needs physical, magical, or area pressure.
- 4
Move the hero between waves so the next interception starts on time.
- 5
Replay failures by enemy type and wave number instead of replacing the entire layout.
Origins is a separate game, not a content section inside the original Kingdom Rush hub. Exact hero, tower, achievement, and stage pages remain held until their own search intent and current version are verified.

Origins hero rankings
Choose the strongest hero for each mode, stage type and playstyle.Faustus is the strongest all-round premium pick, while Eridan is the safest free choice. Durax, Wilbur, Vez’nan and Phoenix can outperform them when a stage rewards true damage, aerial range, crowd control or burst damage.
Origins tower tier list
Compare the strongest towers by mode, map, and campaign progression.Arcane Archers are the safest all-purpose choice, while Forest Keepers, Bladesinger Hall, and Wild Magus fill the best specialist roles. Use Golden Longbows for bosses, High Elven Mage for control, and Druids only when the map rewards area damage.
