The game does not have one permanent best farm. Patch changes, research totals, level bonuses, map quality, and clear speed can change the best route. Community yield claims are not universal drop-rate data.

The answer before the background

Our recommendation

For early farming, replay the highest story level you can clear quickly while mining every unlocked source and completing quests. For green papers, use a reliable high-score level or custom map, increase difficulty gradually, and select a level bonus for green papers when available. For Bit Dust, play Endless mode, finish Endless quests, and keep a stable run going at the highest efficient difficulty. For blueprints, spend green papers on the best chest you can sustain and improve loot frequency and rarity research. After the story, unlock Prestige and loop map sales, quest resets, Prestige Dust, and Prestige Tickets. Level 6.3 is a useful community benchmark, not a guaranteed best farm for every account.

Know what each resource actually does

Coins are the temporary money used during a run. Farm them by killing enemies, using coin-generation tiles, destroying coin-giving gems, and building towers that produce bonus coins. Coins disappear when the game ends, so they are not the same as green papers or other inventory resources.

Green papers are the main permanent currency. They pay for research, crafting, and shop chests. Scalar, Vector, Matrix, Tensor, and Infiar are mined resources used mainly for research and crafting. Blueprints provide another progression bottleneck, while Bit Dust is tied primarily to Endless research.

Gems are level objects rather than a general account currency. On levels such as 6.1 and 6.2, destroying particular gems can unlock platforms or grant coins. If a guide says diamonds or crystals, check its date and wording: the current verified systems use gems, resources, green papers, Bit Dust, accelerators, and tickets rather than a separate universal diamond currency.

  • Spend coins during the run; spend green papers between runs.
  • Do not sell every mined resource if a research branch still needs it.
  • Mark valuable inventory items as favorites before selling or prestiging them.

Important terminology

There is no reliable evidence for a separate all-purpose diamond currency in the current game. Treat “diamonds,” “gold,” and “crystals” in old guides as possible shorthand or outdated terminology unless the guide identifies the exact in-game item.

Build a sustainable first farming loop

Before the story is complete, efficiency matters more than maximum theoretical yield. Choose the highest level you can clear without repeated losses, place miners on every useful source, and finish the level quests that are already close to completion. A slightly weaker level completed quickly usually beats a difficult level that requires repeated retries or long inactive play.

Use early green papers on research that improves the account broadly: tower damage and economy, mining speed, resource capacity, loot frequency, and green-paper income. Avoid spending all of your papers on chests while essential research is still affordable. Chests are useful when a blueprint shortage blocks progression, but research usually improves every later run.

Do not force a Gauss farm simply because a video recommends it. Gauss is especially relevant to certain later maps and gem layouts, but tower availability, research, and placement restrictions matter. Use the tower when the map gives it a genuine advantage, not as a universal early-game answer.

  • Clear story levels far enough to unlock more research and resource types.
  • Mine only resources that are unlocked or needed soon; sell surplus materials later.
  • Use quests as a second reward stream rather than abandoning a good farming run early.
  • Increase difficulty in small steps and keep the highest setting that remains consistent.

Recommendation

Record the green papers, resources, and useful loot from three runs, then divide by total play time. This gives a better personal farming rate than comparing screenshots from accounts with different research.

Farm green papers, Bit Dust, and blueprints efficiently

For green papers, prioritize score, clear speed, and any current level bonus that specifically increases green-paper rewards. The 1.9.0 update added random bonuses for resources, green papers, and Bit Dust on regular levels, so checking the level-selection screen can matter more than blindly replaying one named map. Custom maps become stronger once you have enough useful tiles, a tower that clears efficiently, and research that increases income.

Level 6.3 remains a popular community recommendation for green-paper and loot farming, but it should be treated as a benchmark rather than a rule. A high-difficulty custom map, a regular level with a strong green-paper bonus, or a different stage that you clear faster may produce more per minute. Compare runs at the same research and difficulty whenever possible.

Bit Dust is mainly an Endless progression material. The most dependable early route is to complete Endless quests, especially objectives that can be combined in one run. Once your account can survive longer, run Endless at the highest difficulty that does not make the setup unstable. Difficulty and Endless research can greatly affect returns, but the game may award dust after later runs rather than immediately when a threshold is reached.

Blueprints come from enemy loot, miners, quests, and chests. Improve loot frequency and rarity before spending large amounts of green papers on orange or cyan chests. Buy chests when a specific blueprint tier is blocking research, but do not mistake a lucky chest opening for a repeatable farming rate.

  • For green papers: maximize reward per minute, not reward per completed game.
  • For Bit Dust: combine Endless quests with normal Endless play instead of grinding only one source.
  • For blueprints: improve loot systems first, then use chests to target a shortage.
  • For resources: mine during farming runs and sell only genuine surplus materials.

Verified version change

The official 1.9.0 notes describe faster resource-farming scenarios, additional miner item slots, and random farming bonuses. That is why older 6.3 or 5.x recommendations may no longer be optimal.

Turn farming into a prestige loop

After the story, unlock Prestige research and use it to improve loot rarity, drop rates, quest rewards, and available quest slots. Prestige farming is not simply replaying a level forever. The loop is to earn tiles and loot, build or improve a custom map when worthwhile, sell eligible maps or tiles for Prestige Dust or Tickets, craft the required prestige items, and reinvest them into research.

Quest resets can be valuable because they create another cycle of rewards. However, resetting too early can reduce your immediate ability to finish quests or farm efficiently. First raise the Prestige research that improves ticket and dust income, then reset when the additional reward outweighs the lost progress in the current quest set.

Map selling is most attractive when your loot frequency is high enough to produce tiles faster than you can use them. If your inventory is still small, keep useful tiles for a custom map instead of selling everything. Prestige is a multiplier on a mature farming system, not a substitute for basic research and clear speed.

  • Unlock the Prestige branch before investing heavily in prestige materials.
  • Improve loot rarity and Prestige Dust or Ticket drop research before repeated resets.
  • Sell surplus tiles only after reserving the pieces needed for your best custom map.
  • Reinvest prestige rewards into the systems that increase future loot and farming speed.

Developing PrestigeIncrease loot volume and qualityDrop-rate, rarity, quest, and map efficiency research
Mature accountConvert surplus tiles and quests into long-term boostsPrestige research and targeted blueprint or chest spending
Do not chase a single map name

The strongest route depends on your tile inventory, tower research, difficulty tolerance, and current bonuses. A stable custom map is often better than a famous map that takes twice as long or fails before its best rewards.

Common questions

Is level 6.3 the best green-paper farm?

It is a useful community benchmark, but not a universal answer. Compare it with a high-difficulty custom map and regular levels showing a green-paper bonus. The best option is the one that produces the most useful rewards per minute for your account.

How do I get diamonds in Infinitode 2?

There is no verified general-purpose diamond currency in the current systems covered here. You may be referring to gems on levels 6.1 or 6.2, which are map objects that can grant coins or unlock platforms when destroyed.

What is the best early Bit Dust farm?

Complete Endless quests first, then add stable Endless runs at the highest difficulty you can clear reliably. Quest rewards are especially useful early because they can provide dust without requiring a very long farming run.

Should I farm coins or green papers?

Farm coins only while a run is active; they are temporary. Farm green papers, resources, loot, and blueprints for permanent progression. Improve your in-run economy so you can clear faster, then judge the account by rewards per minute.

Is Gauss required for farming?

No. Gauss can be excellent on maps designed around its placement and mechanics, but it is not a universal requirement. Use the tower when the map and your research support it, and compare its clear speed with your strongest alternative.
